Am I Crazy??

Ever since I can remember I’ve NEVER been a fan of RUNNING! Don’t get me wrong I love sports but only if it involves running after a ball or a person. The last few years a few friends of mine have been training and running Marathons and have tried to get me to do it with them. I had absolutely no motivation to do it. UNTIL…. now! I was finally talked into running a half marathon but only because it meant I would get to go to my favorite place!
After I made up my mind I got a training program ready and started training for over a week. Then I was told that the St George Marathon only had Full marathons and no half's. After a week's worth of running I decided it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be and I sort of enjoyed it. :)
As of now I have no marathon set to run in yet but the training still continues. So far it has been three weeks and I have done really good staying on track with my runs. I started out only being able to run two miles without having to take a break and walk. Last week was my longest run ever 10 miles!! I never would have imagined myself running that far for the fun of it, but I loved every minute of it and cant wait to keep training! Hopefully I'll eventually find a race to run in. Until then ill just keep track of my training progress on my blog so stay tuned! :)

My drive to work is about 11 miles and I think that is too long. I never understood cross country people. But keep up the good work. That is awesome. We will just cheer you on.

YES you are crazy GIRL!! I admire crazy though, so GO FOR IT!! You and Shaney should get together and run. I can barely chase Scout in the grocery store without having a heart attack so do it while you can I say!! Love you and be careful!!

Okay, so I almost signed up for the St. George Marathon. Chris wasn't gung ho about it so we didn't, but several people in our ward got in. chris has done 2 races lately, and I hopefully will join in on the fun soon. We should totally meet up for a race somewhere!! Congrats on the 10 miles! that's a big deal!

I am not a fan of running. Why do you think I was the goalie and played volleyball or softball??? Hardly any running :) Congrats on the marathon...
