Happy Birthday Mom!!

Most of you will probably look at these pictures and wonder if this was really MY birthday party instead of my moms. (Somehow we never get any pictures of her) Her and my dad took us on our family’s annual vacation to St George Utah!! We had a Blast as usual and none of us wanted to come home. We rented out a nice house with an amazing view, the backyard had a swimming pool and Jacuzzi that over looked the valley. The first thing you see when you walk in the front door is this giant tin man statue. Sunday after church Jon and I made a batch of caramel corn for everyone… it was gone in minutes. Friday night we took my mom to the Pizza Factory for her birthday dinner. They serve HUGE breadsticks and the most amazing bbq chicken pizza I've ever had! I highly recommend this place if you are ever in Utah. Other than the extremely obnoxious table of 50 cheerleaders sitting right next to us, I’d say it was a good time. Sunday afternoon we rode bikes, played frisbee, and went long boarding at the park behind the house we stayed at. It was sooooo hot! Even though I didn’t get very many pictures of the birthday girl, I still wanted to express my love for her. I don’t know what I would do without her, she truly is my best friend. I’m grateful to have such a loving mother and hope someday I can be half the mom that she is. My mom is by far the most PATIENT person I know, this is one quality I can honestly say I did not inherit and I wish more than anything that I did. Ever since I was little I would tell my mom I loved her a million times a day to the point where it was almost annoying. I’m sure she assumed it was just a phase that I would grow out of but she was WRONG. Sorry mom but the tradition will continue…. I LOVE YOU!!!!! :) Happy Birthday!!
