Christmas is most definitely my favorite holiday. I love that the holiday actually begins after Thanksgiving and lasts for a month. Most of our family has several days off during Christmas and New Years which makes it feel like a vacation. Unfortunately my brother had to work AGAIN on Christmas day but we were glad to have him with us on Christmas eve for the annual boys vs girls gingerbread house contest.
The boys beat us again. They came up with the idea of adding food coloring to the frosting which made their house more creative. As far as perfection goes, us girls totally won.
Christmas eve we all get a new pair of pj's, somehow this year we all ended up matching.
This Christmas was extra special, it was mine and Jon's first Christmas being married. I couldn't imagine a more perfect first Christmas. We were all completely spoiled by everyone!
