My Best Friends Wedding

WARNING: This is long!! This past November my friend Amber and I were able to drive to Utah for our best friend Tana’s wedding reception. The drive was long but we made it fun. Except for the part where Amber decided to invite my EX MOOCH friend Sarah along to “help pay for gas”. The entire weekend was fun. We left late Thursday night when I got off of work and decided to stay the night in a hotel half way because we were all too tired to drive anymore. And yes who paid for the Hotel? (Not Sarah)…. We finally got to Utah Friday afternoon and dropped the mooch off at her cousins house for the weekend. Then Amber and I went shopping and helped our friend Lee move into his new apartment. The next day was Ambers Birthday and Tana’s bridal shower which was lots of fun seeing her be put on the spot like that and get all the girly wedding gifts which is not her style at all J oh and of course eating all of the delicious food!! After the shower we all had to hurry and get ready for the reception. That night went by so fast. I have never seen Tana so happy before I am excited for her and Von. Congratulations!! After the reception we met up with our friend Lee again and went to Chilis to get some dessert to celebrate Amber’s birthday before the night ended. Of course that was fun anytime Lees around there is always a laugh or two! Happy Birthday Amber! The next day was Sunday so we woke up early and ate some delicious homemade blueberry sauce pancakes. (Thanks Lee) then hit the road back to flag…. Oh not to mention waiting 4 hours for the mooch to meet back up with us to give her a ride back home. The drive again was long and extremely awkward now that Amber and I were both irritated for having to wait 4 hours for her and now neither of us were speaking to her. We stopped and ate and stopped and ate some more and stopped again a few more times. And still nobody speaking to Sarah. Finally $300 dollars later of mine and Amber’s gas money Amber decided to be the brave one and ask Sarah to either fill up the tank this time or give us our money for the gas which she told Amber ahead of time that she would be paying at the end of the trip. Of course the mooches response was “Oh yeah, about that I ummmm don’t have any money im going to have to pay you back.” I was SO ANGRY I knew she had just used us for the ride, but I shouldn’t have been surprised that how she has always been. Never works just gets money from her parents then uses everyone else and spends the money on herself. By then I was irritated, angry, and uncontrollable!!! I told Amber when I got out of the car that she had better calm me down or get Sarah out of my truck before I yell at her! Amber told me to CALM down and not to say anything until we made it back to flag. I of course couldn’t control myself and told her what I thought of her. Needless to say there were fist’s flying at me and words were exchanged (mostly by her) I just sat and laughed. And she ended up hitch hiking back home. And we haven’t spoken since. Good thing me and Amber are still friends! Moral of my story… DON’T BE FRIENDS WITH MOOCHES. Me Posing in front of the gas pumps Me and Amber at the Tana's Reception
