TRIP TO CALIFORNIA

This year for Amber’s birthday we spent it driving back from our friend Tana's Wedding reception in Utah (see My Best Friends Wedding post) - Not a fun drive..... So we decided we would celebrate by taking a fun vacation to California the following week. We went with Amber’s mom and her brother who lives in California met us there. We left November 29th and spent the weekend freezing! The water was soooo cold, the wind NEVER stopped blowing, and it rained the entire day at Disneyland =( Somehow we always make things fun. I absolutely hate Disneyland but since it was Amber’s birthday I decided to give in and make the best of it. I had the worst blisters on my feet from my shoes so I ended up wearing flip flops a majority of the time and my feet were frozen! We ate lots of good fun and went on some fun rides. Amber and her mom are TRUE Disneyland FANS! They have season passes and they live in Mesa... They go there all the time and have the entire park memorized. I’m sure I was a drag to be with but we still had fun! Going with them to Disneyland and being a trooper definitely paid off. They dedicated and ENTIRE DAY for me to SHOP! (Do they know me well or what?!) We went to some outlet stores near our campsite and the stores were AMAZING!
