One Year ago...

I was sitting at work late on a Sunday night bored like usual playing on my facebook and blog. I started talking on facebook with my friend Amber Rogers:

After a few minutes of conversation I asked her what she was up to. She said “Right now I am sitting next to two HOT guys.” :

I asked her if I knew them, she said no they are my neighbors who just moved in. (Of course I became jealous of her because nothing like that would ever happen here in Flagstaff)

Amber and I continued talking about other things, after a few minutes I got another message saying “Hi Keli this isn’t Amber anymore this is one of the “hot guys.”

Me and the “hot guy” talked for an hour before Amber decided she needed to break up our conversation and take her laptop to go home. A few minutes later I get a friend request on facebook from the “hot guy” We kept talking for a few more hours that night. This guy was obviously good at carrying on a conversation, hilarious, super smart, and his typing skills amazed me. He never once misspelled or mistyped any words throughout our entire conversation which I thought was impossible for any guy. Not to mention Amber wasn’t lying when she said he was a “hot guy.”

The next day I get a call from the “hot guy” we talked for a few minutes and he kept trying to convince me to come down to Gilbert that weekend and meet him. I told him I already had plans down there but that I’m sure we could meet up sometime while I was there. However I failed to mention that my plans down there consisted of going on a different blind date with a guy I had already been talking to for a few months. Long story short I ditched the “hot guy” and I’ve regretted it ever since. This is what we call “Friendship # 1” A few months went by and me and the hot guy never spoke. I eventually apologized to him but he seemed bitter towards me for ditching him.

The beginning of January started “Friendship # 2.” He randomly sent me a text message and we haven’t gone a day without talking since. I’m not a fan of blind dates and it took me a month to build up the courage with lots of convincing from him to finally meet him in person.

Exactly 8 months ago today I met the “hot guy” And i'm so glad I did! :)
